        Selecting A College/University

After Completing HSC Examinations

There always persists a dilemma..WHERE TO STUDY???But when you are not quite confident about it then you may end up choosing the dumbest dumb college you could ever think of.

I live in Tamil Nadu where one could be easily mislead if not sure what's gonna happen. But there are certain facilities that we get from Government of Tamil Nadu and several concessions too.And the most significant among them is the TNEA COUNSELLING And MEDICAL COUNSELLING.So this post can help students here in Tamil Nadu to Find a perfect college for them.

There are certain things that you should first keep in mind before choosing a college that suits you should keep in mind several things..And some according to me that are very important are:

1. Be confident in your decision.Don't change your passion just because your relative says that doesn't suit you or when they say that the course has no longer a good value.

2.Surf through the web and find that there are several colleges and Universities that are more standardized and worthwhile to pursue a course.

3.Don't just have an idea to join a college that comes under Anna University. There are several other universities that provide greater facilities than those colleges.

4.Prepare for several Entrance Exams and attend them with a full heart and spirit.Try to clear many of those and you must be the one who decides the right choice.

5.If you cannot or do not want to join universities try to join a college that comes under Anna University with an "Autonomous" status.Because they actually are bit more up to date than those which follow the syllabus prescribed by the University.

6.Ask the experts.Don't ever turn your ear to a person or relative who tries to persuade to join a course that he/she find the most interesting.

7.Understand that you are the one who is going to pursue a career with that course degree.Listen to your mind and choose a course that you are talented in and most interested.

8.Always have an alternate choice. If you cannot join a college/University that you wanted to join in then you must have an alternate choice ready. You cannot choose or decide about it at the last moment.Because it certainly would end like listening to someone else.

9.Search for the college/University that is famous for the course that you wish to study.

10.AND OF ALL..TRY TO CRACK THESE EXAMS..
FOR ENGINEERING ASPIRANTS..

  1.                        Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and JEE Advanced
  2.                        BITSAT
  3.                               VIT University Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE)
  4.                               AEEE(Amirta Engineering Entrance Examination)
  5.                               KEE(Karuya Entrance Examination)
  6.                               PMUET(Periyar Maniyammai University Entrance test)
  7.                               JNU EEE(Jawaharlal Nehru University Engineering Entrance Exam)
  8.                               BEEE(Bharath Univerity Engineering Entrance Exam)

FOR MEDICAL COLLEGES..

Probably NEET would be standardized through out India for Medical Admissions and However in Tamil Nadu you probably would be able to get a seat in medical college with your Aggregate marks(cut off - medical)

And That's it..All the best and have bright future..TO ALL THOSE ASPIRANTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED THEIR HSC BOARD EXAMS
