Best Websites to learn Online (coding)

There are lots of websites where you can learn coding and other computer related stuffs online.Some of them are quite useful and helps you to learn things more easily.Here are some of my suggestions to where you can learn things online for free



Codecademy



Codecademy is one of the best sites where you can learn coding easily. They provide up to date materials to learn a programming language. The most important thing about this site is that you can even try the leant code using their online tool itself and run it online. This makes you even better and makes you have a hands on trial on that language. It also provides Quizes to check your learning. This can be quite handy to check your progress and understanding

Udacity


 Udacity provides a variety of free courses that are very useful indeed. They also provide nano-degree programs that can add up to your resume.Udacity actually pairs up with industries top professionals and experts such as Google,Amazon,Audi etc. Even Google provides link to this website to "Learn to build its Android Apps". If you find the premium nano degree programs not worthy you can still try the free courses. Even they are awesome and gives an outlined portions that will be covered during the course. I personally found them interesting. You can even download the video materials for yourself to view them offline.

EDX


 EDX also provides top quality materials to learn stuff. They also implement coding to various areas and gives you a kind of practical use of learning certain things. They also provide a variety of courses to choose from. They also come signed with industries top experts. This can surely improve your standard and can pose a valuable shine in your Resume. You can learn any of their courses for free. But in order to gain a certificate you have to pay some bucks and complete assignments and clear the exams. But all of these can surely be useful and interesting

Lynda


Lynda.com provides premium courses from experts and enthusiasts in that specific field. They provide guides and Tutorials which can be watched offline using their mobile app. They are quite useful and I myself have undergone a course in Video Editing in Premiere Pro. It was very easy to follow up. This website is recommended for things other than coding. Because they can be a little boring. I tried them and that didn't work out well for me. But you can try courses on Photo and Video editing, and in learning other softwares for practical application.

 

NPTEL


NPTEL is an initiative taken by the Government of India to provide guidance to students of the country. They cover a variety of topics to choose from. These are made and provided by the Top Professor from the IIT across the countries in their specific area of expertise. You can download the materials for free if you would like to watch them offline or on the go. But if you wish to take up the assignments and get them evaluated by them and if you wish to take up the exam to gain a certificate then you have to pay a small amount.
